Building a thriving Swannanoa Valley
The Black Mountain Swannanoa Chamber Foundation supports our local businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs by investing in the people and partnerships that keep our valley strong.
In September 2024, Hurricane Helene devastated the Swannanoa Valley, flooding businesses, displacing families, and wiping out much of the local commercial corridor. The Black Mountain Swannanoa Chamber Foundation has stepped up to support recovery—connecting local businesses to resources and laying the groundwork for long-term revitalization.
But recovery is just the beginning. We believe this moment is an opportunity to build a stronger, more resilient Swannanoa Valley—one that works for everyone.
Support Our Work
The Swannanoa Valley is home to hard-working people, bold ideas, and deep-rooted community spirit. The Black Mountain Swannanoa Chamber Foundation is here to help that spirit thrive—through business support, local partnerships, and inclusive growth. But we can’t do it alone.
Whether you're a neighbor, business owner, artist, or ally—there’s a role for you in building a stronger future.
